The financial institutions not covered by the NDIC include:

a.              Development Finance Institutions such as Bank of Industry, Federal Mortgage Bank, Bank of

Agriculture and Infrastructure Bank

b.              Discount Houses

c.              Finance Companies

d.              Investment Firms

e.              Unit Trusts/Mutual Funds

f.               Insurance Companies

g.              Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs)

h.              Stockbroking Firms

i.               Any other institution as determined by the Board of the   NDIC as stipulated in the NDIC Act.
